spring has sprung

It may be a little premature, but I am so over winter I don't care!  I needed a few things to help transition the wardrobe and found these lovelies at Nordstrom.  Because they didn't have them in my size I went home and promptly found them {ON SALE} on Endless.com a fav site of mine.  FREE overnight shipping...you gotta love that.  Will be wearing them tomorrow!

I am loving these yellow, lightweight scarves from Gap. I'm ready for spring, can you tell? At $24.50 and $29.50 I'll really look forward to picking one up when they go on sale :)

It's award season.....let the cattiness ensue. Yes, E Television I am talking about you. All the hard work these gals put into looking their best on the red carpet and seconds later are ripped to shreds. It's a blood bath out there....must be why the carpet is red. {But seriously ladies, put some of it away....yes, Mariah I am now talking to you.}

I'm just going to show a few of my favorites....because well there are lots of Wicked fans out there who see PLENTY of unflattering pictures of me on facebook and other places, so who am I to judge?!?

Diane Kruger's mustard dress with a red lip is by far my favorite of the year so far. She looks stunning and timeless.
Lea Michelle is having a HUGE year for her career. While I wasn't gobsmacked over her gigantic Globes dress, I really liked this simple jewel tone number.

My favorite look of the night. Probably just because I love her. And because the color of her hair is so fantastic. While some didn't love it, I thought it was memorable and not too over the top. And I do love a little ruffle.I thought Courtney Cox just looked beautiful. I love a simple black dress and with that bit of detail around the waist I think she looks stunning.

I'm ready for fall. I usually tire of the heat by this time of the summer. I'm ready to layer and to wear boots and hats again! Looking at these lovely new {not out yet} Ugg's makes me want lower temps NOW!

Let's be honest....if I feel schleppy or gross looking when I work out it really affects my workout. Seeing the image in the mirror is discouraging and I just want to leave. I long ago fell in love with Lulu Lemon, but I have found a few new designers that are pulling my attention. Enter LUCY. I read about these pants first in a magazine backstage because someone {I think Katherine Heigel} was spotted wearing Lucy pants coming out of the gym. Ground breaking news, I know. But, I keep hearing about them and finally went over to look at their site. Pants are really hard to find for me as I don't like to dance/workout with long pants. So finding cute capris and shorts can be challenging. I'm loving some of these styles....

ahhhh......swimsuit season.....

Every year I say to myself...this is going to be your year to get things all tightened up for swimsuit season.  And every year I go hunting for a bathing suit that I will feel comfortable enough in.  AUGH!!!!  Here are some of this years choices from my fav swimsuit shopping stop: JCrew.  Not necessarily in all the colors shown....I really like that ruffle top though :)

Saw this on dSharp and had to post about it immediately.  Little sis Caitlyn HAS to either have the Gimme Some Sugar pancreas shirt {she has pancreantitis} or Gall of the Wild shirt {she doesn't have her gall bladder anymore}.  Stuff happens...mind as well celebrate and wear a cute shirt in the meantime.

Would you buy a used wedding dress? I saw PreOwned Wedding Dresses in the Times and was a little intrigued. There were actually some really beautiful dresses on the site, Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, Monique Lhullier, etc. I'm not sure how I feel about this, but I really want to know what you think?
